Conan O’Brien may ultimately end up on Fox, but a domain hasn’t been parked. Yet.

A Fox spokesperson moved quickly to squash a report – first by TMZ, picked up by Mediaite and elsewhere – that the network had registered ConanOnFox.com with Go Daddy.

"That domain name is not a Fox domain name and the Twitter account does not belong to Fox," the spokesperson said, referring to both the network and studio side.

The site redirected to a Twitter page, which Fox also denies is theirs.

According to Network Solutions, the registrant was the “Intellectual Property Department” at Twentieth Century Fox.

An e-mail sent to the address associated with the registration was not immediately returned.

All of this doesn’t mean that someone at Fox – or on Team Conan, for that matter – didn’t go rogue and register the domain from home. But for now, Fox is not taking ownership.
