“How I Met Your Mother” writer Hilary Winston and creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas are back at CBS with a new pilot order for comedy “Real Life.”

The sitcom, based on the web series “7p/10e,” by Avital Ash, was originally ordered to pilot by CBS last season, but will be redeveloped for this cycle. The story follows the relationship between two 20-somethings who go from working on opposite coasts to the same office.

Winston is writing and executive producing, with Bays and Thomas acting as EPs.

“Real Time” will be competing for slots on CBS’ 2017 schedule along with previously ordered comedy pilots “9J, 9K & 9L” and “Me, Myself and I.”

On the drama side, CBS has ordered a hate crime drama from Katie Couric; a NASA drama called “Mission Control” that will be written by Andy Weir; a thriller about a former CIA operative-turned-professor who is enlisted to catch a serial killer entitled “Killer Instinct;” “Perfect Citizen,” about an NSA whistleblower who joins a Boston law firm; and an untitled Navy SEALs drama from Benjamin Cavell.
