Platinum-selling musician Michael Buble is being accused of body shaming after posting a picture of a woman on Instagram.
The Canadian singer was in Miami with wife, Luisana Lopilato, when the couple apparently found humor in a woman’s shorts in a restaurant. They snapped a photo (see below), and Buble shared it on his Instagram account with the hashtags #babygotback, #myhumps and #hungryshorts.
The internet’s reaction was swift and vengeful, as many took to social media to blast Buble for the picture. Read some of their tweets below.

Super disappointed in @michaelbuble for posting a photo of a woman’s bum without her consent (and of course a WoC too). — [☆Heady Lamarr☆] (@_peech) April 17, 2015
Buble has since apologized for how the photo was received. In a statement, Buble said:
“It hurts me deeply that anyone would think that I would disrespect women or be insulting to any human being . . .I regret that there are people out there who found the photo offensive. That was not and is not my intention. Women are to be celebrated, loved, respected, honored and revered. I’ve spent my life believing that and will continue to do so.”
