The CW is developing two new potential drama series, TheWrap has learned.

Michael Weatherly will executive produce “Mata Hari,” based on the life of Margaretha Geertruida “Margreet” MacLeod, the Dutch exotic dancer who was convicted of being a spy in World War I. The fictionalized series will follow the brutal murder of her fiance, which draws her into the world of international espionage.

Micah Schraft will write the project and also serve as executive producer with Weatherly and Laurie McCarthy. Tiffany Grant will serve as co-executive producer.

The CW is also developing “Stick Man,” from “Heroes” creator Tim Kring.

The crime drama is described as being in the vein of “Making a Murderer” and follows a filmmaker who travels home to document the aftermath of her brother’s murder and subsequent trial — where she begins to suspect that the accused is innocent and supernatural forces may have been at play.

Cameron Porsandeh is writing “Stick Man” and will serve as EP along with Kring, Justin Levy and Dan Friedkin.

Weatherly will soon be seen on CBS’ “Bull,” after he spent more than a decade on the network’s “NCIS.” He is represented by WME and Anonymous Content.

Kring most recently brought back the “Heroes” franchise with “Heroes: Reborn,” and he also created Freeform’s “Beyond,” which premieres in 2017.
