Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee was dressed to kill, appearing at the third GOP debate in Boulder, Colorado, wearing a Donald Trump-brand necktie.
When asked whether Trump has the moral authority to unite the country, Huckabee said that he loved Trump but didn’t want to waste the little time he has discussing his rival.
And to prove that there was no bad blood between the two, Huckabee announced that not only does he not hate the Manhattan real estate developer, he came wearing a tie from his rival’s clothing line.
“He’s a good man,” said Huckabee. “I’m wearing a Donald Trump tie tonight, get over that one.”
That got some other candidates chiming in.
“Is it made in Mexico?” joked Ohio Governor John Kasich.
“That’s a nasty question,” Trump shot back.
