STX Entertainment announced Friday that it has set a August 19, 2016 release date for writer-director Jon Lucas and Scott Moore‘s untitled comedy starring Mila Kunis, Christina Applegate and Kristen Bell.  Writer director Kelly Fremon Craig’s coming-of-age dramedy starring Hailee Steinfeld and Woody Harrelson will hit theaters on Sept. 30, 2016.

STX also announced that the horror thriller “The Bye Bye Man” will open in theaters on Oct. 14, 2015. That film stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Faye Dunaway and Douglas Smith.

The Kunis comedy follows Amy, who takes care of everyone but herself. While her life may seem perfect, underneath she is at her breaking point. So Amy joins forces with two other over-stressed moms, going on a quest for liberation.

The untitled Craig project is about Nadine (Steinfeld) and Krista (Hayley Lu Richardson), teens who are inseparable until Nadine discovers Krista has been dating her older brother in secret. Kyra Sedgwick also stars in the film.

“The Bye Bye Man,” directed by Stacy Title, is about three college students who move into an old house and accidentally unleash a supernatural entity knows as The Bye Bye Man, who haunts them when they learn of his name.

Last month, STX announced that Pierce Brosnan will star opposite Jackie Chan in an untitled action thriller that Martin Campbell will direct.
