The new video for “Wrecking Ball” opens on an extreme close-up of Miley Cyrus‘ mug. From there, demolition is done.
Perhaps shockingly, there is zero twerking in her latest offering and just as few dancing teddy bears. Instead, the somewhat simplistic video, directed by Terry Richardson, shows Miley getting back at her ex by doing some structural renovation.
But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a fair share of buzz-worthy moments in the video for her newest single off of the upcoming album, “Bangerz.” “Wrecking Ball” has both nudity and the former “Hannah Montana” French-kissing a sledgehammer.
Earlier on Monday, NBC announced that Cyrus will be the host and musical guest for the Oct. 5 “Saturday Night Live.”
