Monique Chenault is out as Executive Producer of CBS Television Distribution’s entertainment magazine show “The Insider.”

The show, which counts “Entertainment Tonight” head Brad Bessey as EP, is eliminating the position entirely as a “cost reduction benefitting the long term stability of the show,” an insider with knowledge of the departure said.

Representatives for the show did not immediately return TheWrap’s request for comment. Employees were informed she was leaving on Friday.

Chenault joined the broadcast in April 2014. She was instrumental in recruiting a number of producers from competitor “Access Hollywood,” including Felidette Blasucci, Bryant Huddleston, Kelsey Tlush and Mark Noble.

“The Insider” is hosted by Louis Aguirre and Debbie Matenopoulos. The series is averaging a 1.2 rating and 1.741 million viewers, according to TheWrap’s recent ratings tally for the entertainment category at large.
