Disney is shifting the release date for its animated feature film "The Brave" from June 15, 2012 to June 22, 2012.
The Pixar animated film will now square off against "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter."
The Disney Digital 3D release features the voice talents of Reese Witherspoon, Emma Thompson, Julie Waters and Pixar special charm John Ratzenberger.
Based on a fairy tale and originally entitled "The Bear and the Bow," the movie earned some negative attention last fall when original director Brenda Chapman was replaced by Mark Andrews. Chapman would have been the first female Pixar director.
