Dan Resin, who appeared in "Caddyshack" as Mr. Beeper, died Friday in Secaucus, N.J., Variety is reporting. He was 79.
Also known as TV's Ty-D-Bol toilet cleaning man, Resin appeared in "The Sunshine Boys" and "Wise Guys" and had a recurring role on CBS' "On Our Own" in the 1970s.
He worked in several Off Broadway and Broadway shows in the '60s, including "Once Upon a Mattress," "The Young Abe Lincoln," "Fade Out, Fade In," "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever" and "Don't Drink the Water."
