Enos, who stars in AMC's "The Killing," would play the Pitt character's wife.

"World War Z" is an ambitious project that takes place a decade after humans win a worldwide war against zombies.

The movie will shoot in London, Malta and other locations.

Paramount acquired rights to the novel in a high-six-figure deal after a bidding war with other studios.

Enos plays Sarah Linden in "The Killing." She also played Jodean Marquart in "Big Love."

Marc Forster is directing "World War Z." J. Michael Straczynski and Matthew Michael Carnahan are writing.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news.
