MTV’s head of reality programming, Lauren Dolgen, is leaving the company after almost two decades, TheWrap has learned.

Dolgen currently serves as head of reality programming and executive vice president of series development, a position she stepped into last year after serving as head of West Coast reality.

During her 19 years at the network, Dolgen worked on such standout reality shows as “Jackass” and subsequent spinoffs like “Wild Boyz” and “Viva La Bam.” She also worked on “”Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory” and “Ridiculousness.”

She is also credited with launching the “Teen Mom” and “16 and Pregnant” franchises, both of which enjoyed multi-season runs on the network.

This is the latest executive shakeup at MTV. Back in September, Stephen Friedman departed his post as president of MTV. Friedman had served as president of MTV since 2011. He first joined the company in 1998. Prior to that, in July, Susanne Daniels stepped down as MTV’s programming president.

The network also recently hired longtime MLB chief marketing officer Jacqueline Parks and former Lifetime exec Eli Lehrer as new EVPs.

Additionally, two Viacom executives have been appointed new roles at MTV. Kristin Frank, formerly EVP of connected content for MTV and VH1, took on an expanded role as EVP of strategy, revenue & operations.

Erik Flannigan, formerly EVP of Viacom’s music & entertainment group, joined MTV full time in the newly created roll of EVP of music/events strategy & development, as the network continues its expansion of music-based programming.
