‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Recruits ‘Sniper’ Franchise Star Chad Michael Collins for Recurring Role (Exclusive)

Actor will play Navy fighter pilot on procedural’s second season

Chad Michael Collins is set to recur on this coming season of “NCIS: New Orleans.” The actor will play a Navy fighter pilot on the sophomore effort of the CBS procedural.

Collins will first appear in the episode “Kissed by the Sun” in October, playing opposite series leads Scott Bakula, Zoe McLellan, and Lucas Black.

Collins recently wrapped the franchise lead role for Sony’s forthcoming film “Sniper: Kill Shot.” He also starred in “Sniper: Legacy” with Tom Berenger and Dennis Haysbert last fall, and originated the Sgt. Brandon Beckett role in 2011’s “Sniper: Reloaded” with Billy Zane.

Collins also shot the lead role for Sony’s WWII action film/video game adaptation “Company of Heroes” with co-stars Tom Sizemore, Vinnie Jones, and Neal McDonough in 2013.

Recent television credits for Collins includes guest spots on “Castle,” “Bones,” “CSI: Cyber,” “Blue Bloods,” and “Once Upon a Time.” Other credits include a recurring guest role on “Last Resort” and guest starring roles on “Major Crimes” and “2 Broke Girls.”

“NCIS: New Orleans” Season 2 premieres Sept. 22 on CBS.
