Forget Hollywood, the (reality) stars hailed from Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday’s episode of “Lip Sync Battle.”
“Chrisley Knows Best” patriarch Todd Chrisley took on original “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member NeNe Leakes for a Southern-style standoff on the hit Spike show that quickly got weird.
Chrisley proved he was a cool dad after all with a hip-shaking, pelvic-thrusting rendition of Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines,” while Leakes had to earn the “Respect” of the audience by belting out the Aretha Franklin classic.
The reality TV personalities are actually neighbors, Leakes revealed, and go to the same local gas station. “The next time I see him, I’m going to put some sugar in his tank,” she threatened.
“I’ve been accused of already having sugar in my tank,” Chrisley quipped back.
He then revealed that he really did have a sweet side by launching into a very feminine version of “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” by Shania Twain, complete with a top hat, shirt, tie … and shorts.
The sexy backup dancers in satin lingerie made up for the sexually ambiguous performance at least, but Todd’s poor son couldn’t look him in the eye as he sat embarrassed in the audience.
Then Leakes pulled out the big guns — and the big wig, big dress and big heels — to go drag for RuPaul’s “Supermodel (You Better Work).”
The cross-dressing extravaganza in scarlet chiffon did the trick, and the Bravo reality star walked away with the winner’s belt.
