Netflix’s ‘Iron Fist’ Casts ‘Game of Thrones’ Star Finn Jones in Lead Role

Actor joins Netflix’s Marvel universe consisting of “Daredevil,” “Jessica Jones” and “Luke Cage”

The Defenders team is complete. “Game of Thrones” star Finn Jones has been cast as the titular role on Netflix’s Marvel series “Iron Fist,” according to media reports.

The series follows previous Netflix Marvel series “Daredevil,” “Jessica Jones” and “Luke Cage.” All four superheroes will join forces for upcoming team-up series “The Defenders.”

The new series follows Daniel Rand as he fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.

Scott Buck will serve as showrunner.

Jones is best known for his role as Loras Tyrell on HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” He is represented by APA and Curtis Brown in the UK.
