The filmmaker behind "Tron: Legacy" and "Oblivion" is heading back to the world of high-profile science fiction, as Joseph Kosinski is in talks to direct "The Twilight Zone" for Warner Bros. and Appian Way.

Leonardo DiCaprio is producing with Jennifer Davisson Killoran.

Plot details are being kept under wraps and are subject to change from previous incarnations of the project, as "Twilight Zone" is now being redeveloped to suit Kosinski's talents.

Kosinski, who has been developing a "Tron" sequel for Disney, is repped by Verve.
