“Orange Is the New Black” returns for a third season on June 12, and the first look at the Netflix series is chock full of punches, tears and the “Betty Page of Litchfield.”
That’s right — Alex is back. Laura Prepon‘s character returns with a black eye and an existential question about how she wound up back in jail after snitching her way to freedom last season.
It looks like we finally get to learn what landed Nicky (Natasha Lyonne) in the slammer too. The character has been a big supporting player for the past two seasons, but apart from some illicit drug use, her crime is a mystery.
But one thing’s for certain: the ladies of Litchfield are as bold and unapologetic as ever.
