Thirteen episodes of fantasy drama starring Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe will debut in April

“Outlander” will return on Saturday, April 9, Starz announced Thursday.

Season 2 of the Caitriona Balfe-Sam Heughan fantasy drama begins as Claire and Jamie arrive in France, hellbent on infiltrating the Jacobite rebellion led by Prince Charles Stuart, and stopping the battle of Culloden. Starz has also released the first poster for the new season, revealing Jamie and Claire’s new surroundings.

The show is produced by Tall Ship Productions, Story Mining & Supply Company and Left Bank Pictures, in association with Sony Pictures Television.

“Outlander” Season 2 premieres at 9 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 9 on Starz.
