Numerous A-list celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Jon Hamm and Lena Dunham are defending Planned Parenthood in a new video asking Americans to contact senators and urge them to protect the women’s healthcare organization.

Brie Larson, Amy Poehler, Judd Apatow, Elisabeth Moss, Alison Brie, Andrew Rannells, Aubrey Plaza, Kate Walsh and Suki Waterhouse are among the other celebrities featured in the video. It is a reaction to the Senate’s recently released version of President Trump’s healthcare bill, which includes a provision to defund Planned Parenthood.

“This is nothing more than a blatantly political attempt to do whatever it takes to attack women’s health and rights, and take healthcare away from the people who need it most,” the celebrities say in the video. “The right to decide our own bodily future is the most basic of all human rights.”

The video continues: “If Congress cuts funding to Planned Parenthood, millions of people will be left without access to birth control, life-saving cancer screenings, and other basic care.”

The video was produced by Lenny Letter, a feminism, style and health blog from Dunham and Jenni Konner.

“The video may even make you giggle, so spread it far and wide and remind your family, coworkers, and frenemies that we have the power. The Senate will vote any day now, so call your senator today,” Dunham wrote.
