Rapper Missy Elliott is expected to make a guest appearance during the Super Bowl halftime show.

The pairing wouldn’t be a first for the “Gossip Folks” artist and Katy Perry. Elliott remixed the songstress’ “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” hit in 2011.

A source revealed the news to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity, CBS News reported.

During  a news conference Thursday, Perry hinted that an “old school” female singer would join her for the anticipated performance, but The”Roar” singer didn’t say who.

For more than two decades, Elliott has made a name for herself as a rapper and producer. She has won mulitple Grammy Awards for tracks such as “Get Ur Freak On” and “Work It.”

At the game, Perry will also be joined by singer and “Hunger Games” star Lenny Kravitz. Halftime show director Hamish Hamilton recently told TheWrap to expect the unexpected from Perry’s performance.

“Katy is unlike like any artist. She’s brought her own personality, flair and humor to the halftime show,” he said. “There are always surprises at Super Bowl!”

Super Bowl XLIX kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT on NBC, with Perry taking the stage for the Pepsi Halftime Show.
