Ratings: Arnold’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Finale Dead Last Among Big 4

NBC settles for fourth place in Monday primetime averages

NBC and Arnold Schwarzenegger hired a “Celebrity Apprentice” last night, though not many people watched them do it.

The reality series finished dead last among the Big 4 broadcasters at 9 p.m. ET, and its host network settled for the same ranking across Monday’s primetime. The competition’s season finale episode tied a previous series low rating.

It also marked the show’s new lowest overall audience total to date, though that could adjust up in final Nielsen numbers.

The show, which is executive produced by original host Donald Trump, had been off the air for two whole years due to the billionaire real estate mogul’s successful run for the presidency.

But it struggled in its return under its new host, the “Terminator” star and former California governor whose opposition to Trump’s presidential ambitions sparked friction on social media.

ABC won the evening in the key 18-49 demographic, with CBS claiming a total viewer victory.

ABC was first in ratings with a 1.8 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 5.8 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Bachelor” at 8 p.m. earned a 2.3/8 and 7.5 million viewers. At 10, “Quantico” settled for a 0.7/3 and 2.5 million viewers.

At 9:30, “2 Broke Girls” received a 1.2/4 and 6 million viewers. “Scorpion” at 10 closed prime to a 1.2/4 and 7.2 million viewers.
