Ratings: Fox’s ‘APB’ Ticks Up in Season Finale

NBC and ABC split another Monday in Nielsen numbers

It was another Monday primetime split: NBC topped the key 18-49 demographic with “The Voice,” while ABC and “Dancing With the Stars” finished first among total viewers. Ho-hum.

Elsewhere, the season finale Fox’s “APB” ticked up from last week in the main demo, and the broadcaster tied CBS’ prime average by that important Nielsen metric. Of course, CBS aired only reruns last night.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.5 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted demo and second in total viewers with an average of 7.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. scored a 1.9/7 and 9.3 million viewers. At 10, “Taken” had a 0.8/3 and 4.6 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.3/5 and first in viewers with 7.9 million. At 8, “DWTS” earned a 1.6/6 and 10.3 million viewers. “Quantico” at 10 got a 0.6/2 and 2.9 million viewers.

CBS and Fox tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.8/3. CBS was third in total viewers with 4.5 million, Fox was fourth with 2.8 million.

For Fox, “Gotham” at 8 landed a 0.9/4 and 2.9 million viewers. “APB” at 9 received a 0.7/3 and 2.8 million viewers.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.7 million.

The CW and Telemundo tied for sixth in ratings, both with a 0.4. Telemundo had a 2 share, CW had a 1. The CW was sixth in total viewers with 1.3 million, Telemundo was seventh with 1.1 million.

For CW, “Supergirl” at 8 managed a 0.5/2 and 1.8 million viewers. At 9, “Jane The Virgin” settled for a 0.2/1 and 868,000 viewers.
