Ratings: ‘Superstore,’ ‘Telenovela’ Rise for NBC

ABC’s “The Bachelor” also grows week over week

New NBC comedies “Superstore” and “Telenovela” both grew in the key measures week over week, according to Nielsen estimates released Tuesday.

America Ferrera‘s “Superstore” scored a 1.6 rating in the advertiser coveted adults 18-49 demographic, up seven percent from last week. It also netted 5.6 million viewers, up four percent from last week.

Eva Longoria‘s “Telenovela” saw a 10 percent rise in the key demo this week, nabbing a 1.1 rating. The show also rose six percent in total viewers to 3.8 million this week.

On ABC, “The Bachelor” also rose week to week. The reality dating series grew nine percent in total viewers to 7.5 million and five percent in the key demo to a 2.1 rating over its two hour broadcast.

However, CBS still won the night with a 1.8 rating and 10.2 million viewers overall. “Supergirl” got a 1.8 rating and 8.8 million viewers at 8 p.m. “Scorpion” pulled in a 2.0 rating and 11.4 million viewers at 9. Finally, “NCIS: LA” got a 1.6 rating and 10.4 million viewers.

ABC finished in second place with a 1.7 rating and 6.3 million viewers on average. “The Bachelor” aired from 8-10. “The Bachelor Live” got a 0.9 rating and just under 4 million viewers at 10.

Fox came in third place with a 1.5 rating and 4.1 million viewers. The network aired only “MasterChef Celebrity Showdown” from 8-10.

NBC came in fourth with a 1.1 rating and just under 4 million viewers. “Superstore” and “Telenovela” aired at 8 and 8:30 respectively. “The Biggest Loser” aired from 9-11 and got a 1.0 rating and 3.4 million viewers overall.

Univision came in fifth place with a 0.8 rating and 1.9 million viewers.

Telemundo came in sixth with a 0.7 rating and 1.8 million viewers.

The CW came in seventh place with a 0.4 rating and 1.4 million viewers. The “Just for Laughs” special with Howie Mandel earned a 0.4 rating and 1.4 million viewers from 8-9:30, followed by repeats.
