Ratings: ‘This Is Us’ Hands NBC Demo Win, CBS Takes Total Viewers

“NCIS” delivers 16 million viewers for The Eye network

“This Is Us” led NBC to an easy win in the key adults 18-49 demographic on Tuesday night, but “NCIS” helped CBS walk away with the total viewers crown.

At 9 p.m., “This Is Us” averaged a 2.8 rating and 9.5 million viewers, making it the highest-rated show of the night in the demo. “NCIS” aired at 8, drawing in a 1.9 rating but 16 million viewers.

NBC finished first in the demo with a 2.0 rating overall and second in total viewers with 7.8 million. Freshman game show “The Wall” drew a 1.6 rating and 6.5 million viewers at 8, followed by “This Is Us” at 9. “Chicago Fire” closed at 10 with a 1.7 rating and 7.3 million viewers.

CBS came in second in the demo with a 1.4 rating but first in total viewers with 12.1 million. “NCIS” aired at 8. “Bull” followed at 9 with a 1.3 rating and 11.1 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” drew a 1.1 rating and 9.1 million viewers at 10.

Fox finished third overall with a 0.9 rating and 2.81 million viewers. “New Girl” opened at 8 with a 0.9 rating and 2.4 million viewers. “The Mick” followed at 8:30 with a 1.0 rating and 2.8 million viewers. At 9, “Bones” managed a 0.9 rating and 3 million viewers.

ABC tied for fourth in the demo with a 0.8 rating but finished fourth in total viewers with 2.77 million. The network aired mostly repeats except for “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” at 10, which drew a 0.7 rating and 2 million viewers.

The CW tied for fourth in the demo with a 0.8 but finished fifth in total viewers with 2.2 million. “The Flash” got a 0.9 rating and 2.7 million viewers at 8. “Legends of Tomorrow” got a 0.6 rating and 1.8 million viewers at 9.

Univision finished sixth with a 0.7 rating and 2 million viewers.

Telemundo finished seventh with a 0.6 rating and 1.6 million viewers.
