Ukrainian reporter previously pleaded no contest to attacking Brad Pitt at a “Maleficient” premiere
Kim Kardashian was tackled by notorious red carpet antagonist Vitalii Sediuk at a Paris Fashion Week event on Thursday. She was nearly brought down to the ground.
Camera footage of the encounter showed the reality starlet exiting her car alongside her mother Kris Jenner and husband Kanye West in front of dozens of clamoring reporters. Suddenly, someone lunges in from the crowd and attempts to tackle Kardashian.
“Stop it!” Kardashian screamed, in the video, which was acquired by TMZ.
Sediuk’s representatives told TheWrap‘s that the 25-year-old Ukrainian reporter is responsible for the incident.
As TheWrap previously reported, Sediuk has been involved in previous physical altercations on the red carpet.
He was arrested in May after tackling Brad Pitt at a premiere of Angelina Jolie‘s “Maleficient” and eventually pleaded no contest to counts of assault and battery. A judge ordered him to stay 500 feet away from both Pitt and Jolie.
Sediuk was supposed to return to court earlier in September to fulfill further court-ordered obligations stemming from Pitt attack, but the reporter insists he was put on a no-fly list and thus rendered unable to return to the United States.
His representative told TheWrap Sediuk now has no idea how he can carry out his sentence.
On May 16, Sediuk stuck his head under actress America Ferrera‘s dress at the Cannes premiere of “How to Train Your Dragon 2” and once was slapped by Will Smith in 2012 after attempting to kiss the actor on the lips.
