“Home Again,” the directorial debut of a rom-com heir apparent that stars Reese Witherspoon, will get a fall release from Open Road.

Hallie Meyers-Shyer, daughter of writer-director Nancy Meyers, will offer up her first feature nationwide on September 8.

The elder Meyers will produce alongside Erika Olde from Black Bicycle Entertainment, who is also the financier.

“Home Again” stars Witherspoon as a mother of two who takes in three young guys and builds an unconventional family. The new additions to her household include Nat Wolff (“Paper Towns”), Jon Rudnitsky (booking some encouraging post-“SNL” work) and Pico Alexander (“Indignation”). Candice Bergen and Lake Bell co-star.

IMR will handle international sales on the project, the next chance fans will get to see Witherspoon since the conclusion of her smash hit HBO limited series “Big Little Lies.”
