Fred Savage Gets Rob Lowe to Break Character in Blooper for Fox’s ‘The Grinder’ (Exclusive Video)

The outtake from Fox’s sitcom shows Lowe driven to distraction by his co-stars

In an exclusive blooper outtake from this Tuesday’s episode of “The Grinder,” co-stars Rob Lowe and Fred Savage interrupt a scene to share in a bit of playful banter.

Lowe breaks character in the middle of a conversation with co-star Natalie Morales to scold Savage and others for talking too loudly in the background. With a confused face and a quick pause, Lowe turns to the actors behind him, simply remarking, “Really?”

Savage quickly replies, defending his group at the corner desk. “This scene is great, by the way… this is, I mean, really working,” he said.

The new Fox sitcom follows TV lawyer Dean Sanderson (Lowe) who believes that playing a lawyer on TV qualifies him to run his family’s law firm with his brother Stewart (Savage).

“The Grinder” airs Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
