Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L Jackson Cuss, Fight in ‘Hitman’s Bodyguard’ Red Band Trailer (Video)

Action film also starring Salma Hayek opens August 18

Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson cuss and fight their way through “The Hitman’s Bodyguard” red band trailer, which Lionsgate released Thursday following its CinemaCon debut.

“I’m a triple-A rated executive protection agent,” Reynolds says in the trailer. “And you are the most wanted hitman in the world. My job is to keep you out of harm’s way.”

Jackson responds by kneeling over in laughter.

Later in the trailer, Jackson’s character is chased by bad guys. Instead of helping him, Reynolds talks to a coffee vendor on the streets of Amsterdam.

“I hope they kill him, I really do,” Reynolds says.

“The Hitman’s Bodyguard” stars Reynolds and Jackson as an unlikely duo as they must work together to testify at the International Court of Justice to bring down an evil man. Mayhem ensues as the two can’t put aside their differences. The movie, directed by Patrick Hughes, also stars Gary Oldman, Salma Hayek, Kirsty Mitchell and Elodie Yung.

“The Hitman’s Bodyguard” opens August 18. Watch the trailer above.
