Samuel L. Jackson Tells Letterman to ‘Go the F— to Sleep’ (Video)

The gag parenting book is officially a publishing phenonmenon

We swear we won't post anything tomorrow about "Go the F— to Sleep," the mega-viral parenting gag book that will debut at No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list for advice and how-to titles. But only because we're off on Saturdays.

As "Snakes on a Plane" actor Samuel L. Jackson and German director Werner Herzog have already shown us, every weekday right now appears to be "Go the F— to Sleep" day. Adam Mansbach's cheeky humor book for parents of brats is sweeping the nation — and on Thursday it swept through late-night.

Promoting his audiobook recording, which is still being given away for free by the publisheer, Jackson hit "Late Show with David Letterman" to reveal his parenting style and also read an excerpt from the book.

While we marginally prefer Herzog's version, simply because his thick accent adds an extra dose of comedy, Jackson definitely knows his way around the "f" word.
