Longtime CNN producer Danielle Dellorto is leaving the network, she announced on Facebook on Sunday. An insider familiar with the situation told TheWrap Dellorto accepted a buyout package instead of a different position as part of the network’s restructuring.

Dellorto, who served as senior producer for Dr. Sanjay Gupta, prefaced her decision to leave the network after 11 years by mentioning the recent changes at CNN.
Dellorto will still work with Gupta on outside projects, including Gutpa’s radio show, “A Better Life With Dr. Sanjay Gupta.”

Gupta’s show, “Sanjay Gupta MD,” was one of five CNN/HN shows to be canceled as part of the “Turner 2020” plan’s 10% reduction in staff across the board. About 150 staffers were laid off two weeks ago as part of the network’s cuts.
