Sarah Paulson made the most mundane of Hillary Clinton’s emails sound dramatic during an appearance on “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.”
Paulson was brought out by Bee to perform the new one-woman show “Hillary’s Emails: Yes I Am Up.” Paulson gave a stirring read to such lines as “Please print” and “Please print in bigger print.”
And who could forget the bombshell revelation, “I didn’t know they were doing operations in the conference room. Can we get some details — and promise new carpet?”
FBI director James Comey caused a political firestorm last week when he sent a letter to Congress saying that emails discovered in the investigation into Anthony Weiner’s sexting scandal could figure into the investigation of Clinton’s use of a private email server. However, the FBI announced on Sunday that they had reviewed the emails and found nothing suspicious.
“Thanks to WikiLeaks, we discovered the real Hillary, a somewhat tech-averse workaholic who wants people to have medicine and wants her staff to print out this television show for her, large font please,” Bee said.
Today, the American people will finally vote between Clinton and GOP candidate Donald Trump in the presidential election. Clinton is the first woman to be nominated by a major U.S. party for that office.
