Papa Pope is back.
After a weeklong hiatus, ABC’s “Scandal” returns with more “twisty, crazy” B613 intrigue.
Jake (Scott Foley) teams up with Olivia Pope and David Rosen (Josh Malina) to take down the secret organization and its leader, who also happens to be Olivia’s father Rowan (Joe Morton).
But as the preview for the episode suggests, “taking down daddy can be the end for ‘Olitz’” (that would be Olivia and Fitz’s excruciatingly painful couple’s moniker).
A trailer for Thursday’s episode shows Papa Pope giving his creepiest laugh, while demanding the case against B613 be dropped within 48 hours. Rowan wants Olivia to shut down her case against him before it gets ugly. That doesn’t seem to scare Liv, who seems hellbent on shutting down the secret group even if it means taking down Fitz in the process.
Meanwhile, Liv takes on a new case after getting a call that the mayor’s wife has been murdered.
Back in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the president needs help getting an important bill passed. But when he tries to shore up the support of his new vice president, Fitz discovers she’s not exactly a pushover like everyone thought.
