Rob Kazinsky warns that “second chances can be a real monster” in the first trailer for Fox’s upcoming Frankenstein-inspired drama “Second Chance.”
The show, which premieres on Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. ET, has gone through a number of titles, including “The Frankenstein Code” and “Lookinglass.” It also recently had its first-season order cut from 13 episodes to 11.
The series follows a disgraced, 75-year-old ex-sheriff whose life ends at the hands of corrupt cops. He’s brought back to life and given a second chance by a pair of young tech scientists — twins Otto and Mary — as a 35-year-old (Kazinsky) with unpredictable near-superhuman abilities. The scientists’ company name is Lookinglass.
“True Blood” alum Kazinsky stars with Adhir Kalyan, Dilshad Vadsaria, Tim DeKay, Philip Baker Hall and Ciara Bravo.
Rand Ravich serves as writer and executive producer for 20th Century Fox TV with Howard Gordon and Michael Cuesta, who directed the pilot.
