Julia Roberts looks decidedly glammed-down in a gray sweatshirt in preview images from the upcoming thriller “Secrets in Their Eyes.”
The actress stars with “12 Years a Slave” star Chiwetel Ejiofor as a tight-knit team of FBI investigators who are thrown into turmoil when Roberts’ teenage daughter is brutally murdered.
Also starring as the duo’s district attorney supervisor is Nicole Kidman, who replaced Gwyneth Paltrow in the role.
Billy Ray wrote and directed the film, adapting it from Argentine director Juan José Campanella’s 2009 film “El secreto de sus ojos,” which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film the following year.
STX Entertainment will release the film in theaters Oct. 23.
