“Sister Wives” fans took star Kody Brown’s famous saying, “Love should be multiplied, not divided,” to heart.

They drove Sunday’s season finale at 8 p.m. to earn the series’ highest ratings and biggest audience. It banked a 2.8 Household rating and 3.4 million total viewers, in Live plus three-day numbers.

At 9 p.m., the success of the finale continued on with the show’s “Tell All” special. It garnered 2.7 million viewers in L+3.

With anticipation high and The Brown Family tweeting live with viewers, “Sister Wives” ranked as cable’s No. 3 most social reality series program in primetime last Sunday according to Nielsen Twitter numbers.

On the finale, fans finally found out that Kody has divorced first wife, Meri, to marry fourth wife, Robyn, in order to make the marriage legal. That would allow Kody to petition for adoption of Robyn’s children from a previous marriage.

The cast of “Sister Wives” will return for a sixth season in fall 2015. And sister network OWN will feature the Browns on “Where Are They Now?” on Sunday, March 8, at 9 p.m.
