Sarandon will play a famed novelist who gives Molly a writing lesson she won't soon forget
Susan Sarandon is coming to “Mike & Molly.”
The “Dead Man Walking” actress has been booked for a guest appearance on the CBS sitcom, playing J.C. Small, a literary icon and an idol to Molly Flynn (played by Melissa McCarthy).
Described as “part J.D. Salinger with a touch of William Faulkner and a spike of Gore Vidal,” Small possesses both a beautiful mind and a tortured soul. She gives Molly a lesson in writing that she, nor her family, are soon to forget.
