Taylor Swift is tired of being slut-shamed.
Swift sat down with Vogue to do a “73 Questions” interview in which she expressed her dismay over the public’s obsession with her dating life.
Asked what she wished her 19-year-old self had known, Swift, now 26, offered a cutting answer.
“You’re gonna date just like a normal 20-something should be allowed to, but you’re going to be a national lightning rod for slut-shaming.”
Many a headline has revolved around Swift’s personal life, which has reportedly included relationships with Joe Jonas, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal and Harry Styles. Speculation about which beau is the subject of which Taylor Swift relationship song has practically become a national obsession.
Sounds like Swift has a new topic to cover on her next album.
