Teri Hatcher will guest star on the upcoming second season of CBS’ “The Odd Couple” in a multi-episode arc, the network announced Thursday.

Hatcher will play Charlotte, a smart, successful single mother who lives in Oscar Madison’s (Matthew Perry) building. They meet when Oscar starts dating her nanny, but he soon realizes he’s really interested in Charlotte.

Hatcher is perhaps best known for her starring role in the ABC drama “Desperate Housewives,” but she has appeared in numerous television and film projects throughout her career.

She played Lois Lane in the ’90s series “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” opposite Dean Cain. She also appeared in the 1997 James Bond film “Tomorrow Never Dies.”

“The Odd Couple” stars Perry and “Reno 911” alum Thomas Lennon in a reboot of the original Neil Simon play, which was also adapted into a 1970s TV series starring Jack Klugman and Tony Randall.
