‘The 100’ Renewed for Season 5 on The CW

The CW has renewed its post-apocalyptic drama “The 100” for a fifth season, the network announced Friday.

The series is centered on 100 juvenile delinquents who are sent down to a potentially toxic Earth to test its habitability, and stars Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Marie Averopoulos, Paige Turco, Henry Ian Cusick, Devon Bostick, Christopher Larkin, Zach McGowan and Isaiah Washington.

“The 100” is based on the book series by Kass Morgan and is produced by Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Alloy Entertainment, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios.

Jason Rothenberg created the show and is the executive producer, along with Leslie Morgenstein. The show hails from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Alloy Entertainment, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios.

“The 100” is currently airing its fourth season Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
