FORMER TVWEEK DEPUTY EDITOR and VARIETY TV EDITOR JOINS EDITORIAL TEAM
 
 
LOS ANGELES (June 15, 2009) TheWrap (www.thewrap.com), the premiere news organization covering the business of entertainment and media, announces that Josef Adalian, a highly-regarded editor and reporter, will join the organization as TV editor.
 
Adalian is currently Editor of industry publication TVWEEK.com and prior to that had been at Variety, covering television there for a decade. Adalian joins TheWrap’s top-notch editorial and business team, most recently augmented by Variety’s former executive editor Michael Speier, who is News Editor at TheWrap, and former Variety Publisher Charlie Koones, who has joined TheWrap’s Board of Directors.
 
Adalian is known as a force in breaking news about the television industry, having started at the New York Post and Boston Herald. Throughout his career, Adalian has covered both the business of network television and news and has interviewed a wide range of industry executives, producers and celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Katie Couric, Conan O’Brien, and Howard Stern.
