Ratings: ‘This Is Us’ Does It Again – Fall Finale Breaks Own Viewer Record

CBS still finishes first in overall audience with “NCIS” and “Bull”

“This Is Us,” you sly dog — you’ve done it again!

The hit NBC freshman drama just broke its own total viewer record for the second-straight week in a row. Last night’s fall finale put up a big 10.9 million total viewers.

Along with “The Voice,” NBC comfortably topped Tuesday among the key 18-49 demographic, though CBS walked away with an overall audience “W.”

NBC was first in ratings with a 2.1 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted demo and second in total viewers with an average of 9.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. earned a 1.9/7 and 10.1 million viewers. At 9, “This Is Us” scored a 2.8/9. “Chicago Fire” at 10 landed a 1.7/6 and 7.7 million viewers.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.5/5 and first in viewers with 11.8 million. “NCIS” at 8 posted a 1.7/6 and 14.5 million viewers. “Bull” at 9 put up a 1.5/5 and 11.6 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” at 10 received a 1.2/4 and 9.3 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 1.0/4 and in viewers with 3.8 million. “The Middle” at 8 had a 1.4/5 and 6 million viewers. At 8:30, “American Housewife” got a 1.4/5 and 5 million viewers. “Fresh Off the Boat” at 9 received a 1.1/4 and 3.8 million viewers. “The Real O’Neals” at 9:30 closed out the sitcom block to a 0.8/3 and 3 million viewers. At 10, “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” settled for the same rating and share, but dipped from its lead-in to 2.5 million viewers.

Telemundo was fourth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and fifth in viewers with 1.89 million.

The CW and Fox tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.7. CW had a 3 share, Fox got a 2. The CW was fourth in total viewers with 2 million, Fox was seventh with 1.6 million.

For CW, “The Flash” at 8 received a 1.2/4 and 3.1 million viewers. At 9, “No Tomorrow” settled for a 0.3/1 and 860,000.

For Fox, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” at 8 had a 1.0/4 and 2.3 million viewers. At 8:30, “New Girl” got a 0.8/3 and 1.8 million viewers. “Scream Queens” at 9 managed a 0.5/2 and 1.2 million viewers.

Univision was seventh in ratings with a 0.6/2 and sixth in viewers with 1.82 million.
