Ratings: ‘This Is Us’ Carries NBC to 7th Straight Tuesday Win

CBS has topped the weeknight in total viewers versus regular programming all season long

“This Is Us” may have slipped a bit from last week with some of its audience out celebrating Valentine’s Day, but the freshman hit drama still carried NBC to its seventh straight Tuesday win among adults 18-49.

CBS won in total viewers once more, something it’s accomplished on the weeknight pretty much all season long.

ABC and Fox fell in line behind those two broadcast nets.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.8 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 7.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Wall” at 8 p.m. put up a 1.4/5 and 5.7 million viewers. At 9, “This Is Us” earned a 2.4/8 and 9 million viewers. “Chicago Fire” at 10 landed a 1.5/6 and 6.7 million viewers.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.5/5 and first in viewers with 11.9 million. “NCIS” at 8 scored a 1.8/7 and 15.1 million viewers. At 9, “Bull” posted a 1.3/5 and 10.6 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” at 10 garnered a 1.2/5 and 10.2 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 1.0/4 and in viewers with 3.7 million. “The Middle” at 8 had a 1.5/6 and 6.2 million viewers. “American Housewife” at 8:30 got a 1.4/5 and 5.3 million viewers. At 9, “Fresh Off the Boat” received a 1.0/4 and 3.6 million viewers. “The Real O’Neals” at 9:30 closed the sitcom block to a 0.8/3 and 2.9 million viewers. “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” at 10 finished primetime with a 0.7/3 and 2.2 million viewers.

Fox was fourth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and in viewers with 2.6 million. “New Girl” at 8 had a 0.9/4 and 2.1 million viewers. At 8:30, “The Mick” got a 1.0/4 and 2.5 million viewers. “Bones” at 9 dug up a 0.8/3 and 3 million viewers.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 2 million.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.4 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 739,000. “Tough Mudder: The Challenge Within” managed a 0.3/1 and 770,000 viewers. A rerun followed.
