Golf star Tiger Woods announced on social media Monday that he has completed treatment for his issue with pain medication.

“I recently completed an out of state private intensive program,” the athlete tweeted. “I will continue to tackle this going forward with my doctors, family and friends. I am so very thankful for all of the support I’ve received.”

Woods was arrested on May 29 and charged with driving under the influence. He tweeted on June 19 that he was seeking assistance “to help manage my medications and the ways that I deal with back pain and a sleep disorder.”

The star’s trouble in his personal life dates back to November 2009, when Woods was famously involved in a car crash near his home just days after National Enquirer reported that he was having an extramarital affair.

An “indefinite break” from golf to work on his marriage to Elin Nordegren failed, and the couple finalized their divorce in August 2010.

Woods has not played professional golf since withdrawing from the Dubai Desert Classic in February of this year.
