Tila Tequila has been kicked off of the U.K. reality show “Celebrity Big Brother” after pro-Hitler statements she’d made were brought to light, the BBC reports.

Producers dropped Tequila, who rose to fame as a MySpace celebrity, after a campaign was launched to get her thrown off the show.

In December 2013, Tequila posted a photo of herself online that depicted her posed in front of Auschwitz and bedecked in Nazi regalia. She also referred to Hitler as “a brilliant artist” who was “ahead of his time.”

A spokesperson for Channel 5 said that neither the station nor production company Endemol had previously been aware of her views on the topic.

“When they were brought to our attention, she was called to the Diary Room for a discussion with producers and was subsequently removed from the house,” the spokesperson added.

“The views Tila had expressed, and permitted to remain uncorrected, are totally unacceptable and, accordingly, her continued involvement in the programme was untenable,” the spokesperson added.

The current season of “Celebrity Big Brother.” which launched Thursday, also features model Janice Dickinson and former porn star Jenna Jameson as housemates, among others.
