TLC Renews ‘Sister Wives’ for Season 6, Offers First Look at Season 5 Finale (Exclusive Video)

March finale will be followed by a tell-all with NBC “Today Show” host Tamron Hall

TLC’s “Sister Wives” has been renewed for Season 6, TheWrap learned on Monday. The new cycle will air in the Fall of 2015.

Meanwhile, the current season of the polygamy-based reality series concludes on Sunday, Mar. 1 with a two-hour special. The finale episode starts at 8 p.m. and will be followed by a 9 p.m. tell-all.

In the first look at the Season 5 finale, we see the Brown family trying to cope with last week’s Earth-shattering revelation — Meri’s announcement that she intends to divorce Kody.

“The word ‘divorce’ is like shattering glass,” Kody says.

He and the Sister Wives — Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn — have faced struggles within their relationships and with children leaving the nest this season, all of which will come to a head on the upcoming finale.

NBC “Today Show” co-host Tamron Hall will moderate the post-finale tell-all. She will discuss an array of topics with the Brown family, with no subject off limits.

Figure 8 Films produces “Sister Wives” in association with Puddle Monkey Productions for TLC. The “Sister Wives Tell All” is produced by Peacock Productions.

“Sister Wives’” two-hour season finale starts Sunday, Mar. 1 at 8 p.m. on TLC.
