Donald Trump could sell ice to an eskimo, Trevor Noah said on Thursday. Unfortunately, those (metaphorical) inuits elected this dude President.
“Trump supporters are so on board with their dude, he can say anything and they’ll come along for the ride,” the “Daily Show” host stated last night, referring to recent flip-flopping on Trump’s proposed border wall and Wall Street stances.
Nowadays, Trump’s conservative crowd is cheering the concept of making it a solar wall between us and Mexico, saving our neighbors to the south quite a bit of pesos. They’re also suddenly totally down with former investment bankers being placed in charge of our country’s commerce policy.
“It feels like Trump’s crowd’s only consistent belief is that if Trump said it, it’s good,” Noah said.
“I just imagine at this point, every object in Hillary’s house is just bent in rage,” the South African comedian concluded.
