Turner Broadcasting Promotes John Harran, Michael Quigley to SVP Roles

Harran is now senior vice president of business & product development; Quigley is elevated in brand distribution

Turner Broadcasting promoted John Harran and Michael Quigley on Monday.

Harran was given the newly created role of senior vice president of business & product development; he was previously vice president of business development & multi-platform distribution. In the new job, Harran is responsible for the distribution strategy for Turner’s TV Everywhere initiative.

He’ll also explore distribution for Turner content with partners in the EST, SVOD and OTT spaces, as well as help develop and distribute advanced product opportunities, such as March Madness Live and CNN GO. Harran also oversees Turner Private Networks.

Quigley was promoted to senior vice president of brand distribution; he had been vice president, business development & multi-platform distribution. Quigley will oversee all account management responsibilities and strategic content distribution initiatives with major linear affiliate partners.

Both will report to Jennifer Mirgorod, executive vice president of Brand Distribution.
