Former "Apt. 23" star Krysten Ritter will play an idealistic assistant with a larger-than-life boss
Krysten Ritter might have been rendered temporarily homeless when ABC evicted her comedy "Don't Trust the B—- in Apt. 23" from its programming slate earlier this year, but at least she's working again.
Ritter has been cast in the NBC comedy pilot "Assistance." She'll play Nora, an
idealistic assistant who strives to please her larger-than-life boss as she attempts to find balance in her own life.
The single-camera comedy is being written by Leslye Headland ("Bachelorette"), who'll also executive produce, along with Headland, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Chris Henchy and Owen Burke.
In addition to landing the "Assistants" role, Ritter has entered an overall deal with NBC.
"Assistance" is being produced by Universal Television and Gary Sanchez Productions.
