"Community" creator Dan Harmon was shown the door, but Chevy Chase, Joel McHale and the rest of the cast are on for Season 4
"Community" creator Dan Harmon might have been shown the door, but rest assured — when the doors open at Greendale Community College once again, the on-air talent will all be aboard.
Yes, and that includes Chevy Chase — who famously criticized the direction in which Harmon had led the series with a well-publicized, sharp-tongued phone message.
The entire "Community" cast has been secured for the fourth season of the NBC sitcom, which will surely bring a sigh of relief to fans who weren't even sure if there would be a fourth season a couple of months ago.
However, there are still changes afoot for the series — back in May, news broke that "Community" co-showrunners Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan were leaving the series to pursue a two-year deal with 20th Century Fox Television.
"Community" will air Friday nights at 8:30 when it returns for its 13-episode fourth season in the fall.
