‘CSI’ Alum Marg Helgenberger Joins CBS's ‘Intelligence’ Pilot

Marg Helgenberger will play the director of U.S. cyber security branch Cybercom

Marg Helgenberger is back in the crime-fighting business with CBS.

Helgenberger, who played Catherine Willows on the network's hit drama "CSI" from 2000 to 2012, has signed on for the CBS pilot "Intelligence."

The pilot, which also stars Josh Holloway, Michael Rady and James Martinez, revolves around government security branch U.S. Cyber Command, and focuses on a unit that has been created around one agent with a very special gift, a microchip that has been implanted in his brain that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum.

Helgenberger will play Lillian, the director of Cybercom, the U.S. government's cyber security branch.

The pilot, which is being written by Michael Seitzman ("House Rules"), is produced by CBS Television Studios and ABC Studios.
